Saliha is a first Generation Afghani-American woman, who taught herself how to paint, as a hobby. Not realizing her potential as an artist, she pursued a degree in Anthropology at the University of California Riverside. During her time is school she worked as Tutor for several Autistic children, she now has plans to bring awareness to Autism through her paintings. Currently she is residing is San Diego and has plans to continue her artwork as well as pursue a teaching credential. As a young emerging artist, Saliha wants to bring awareness to both autism, but also help those that are in need. She plans to donate proceeds from her paintings to help educate children in Afghanistan. Saliha continues to create original pieces of artwork on a regular basis and plans to continue having art shows throughout San Diego County.
